Our motorsport-derived top mount allows you to increase steering precision and guarantees better functioning of the spring-shock absorber group. The top mount is a component that is placed between the shock absorber and the dome of the body. In order to improve the precision of the steering and the structural resistance of the system, in particular in the case of rigid settings, it is recommended to replace this part with one derived from motorsport: replacing the rubber with a uniball type ball joint allows you to increase the precision of the steering steering and guarantees better functioning of the spring-damper assembly.
This specific kit for Ohlins coil-over shock absorbers also allows the adjustment of the camber up to approximately -2.5°: increasing this angle allows you to obtain the maximum footprint of the tire on the ground during a demanding curve. The kit includes: spring plate, uniball adjustment and support plate, motorsport uniball and special shock absorber rod nut.
The kit, made entirely of ERGAL machined from solid, includes a new plate system with an integrated axial ball bearing to eliminate the noise during steering typical of top mount racing and a protection against water to safeguard the uniball.
